Hello,
users with only the "Run query" right cannot actually execute queries in the reporting tab. They receive a "Forbidden" message. They can only run queries if they also have the "Edit query" right.

Hi Renaud,

If the query is executed in design view in the console, the "edit_report" permission is indeed required.

"run_report" should be sufficient as an ACL, but if the user had previously opened the query in design view and their permission was subsequently removed, it could indeed cause a problem because it will try to open in design view again. We're looking into how to fix the issue.
