[SOLVED] forticlient-vpn error

Good morning,

We have a problem with the forticlient-vpn package.

It installs correctly, but still displays an error in the logs.

This is a problem for us, because the forticlient-vpn-config package depends on it, and therefore does not install because FortiClient reports an error.

Here are the logs for the forticlient-vpn installation task:

Hello

, you're not looking at the error in the right place. You need to go to the general tab and click on the package with the error to see the exact error.

It's error 1603, so very broad.

The package states: INFO: Reboot is required to avoid error 1603 with FortiClient VPN.

In this case, since it's error 1603 "fatal error during installation",

you need to run the installation manually on the machine to see what it says using the GUI (with the same MSI file as the package).
