[RESOLVED] Update Package for tis-windows11-requirements update request

Published: September 11, 2026 - 10:10 AM

Hello,

I have the impression that the tis-windows11-requirements package has stopped updating since October 30, 2025, despite an updated_at tag that is higher than the package's update date for Intel processors (2026-02-11T18:05:00Z).
It seems to only be taking into account the update date for AMD processors (2025-10-30T17:05:00Z)...

Is a fix possible if this is the case?

Good morning,

The package supports Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm processors. See update_package.py:

Code: Select all

    base_url = 'https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported'

    brand_proco_url = [
        'windows-11-24h2-supported-amd-processors',
        'windows-11-24h2-supported-intel-processors',
        'windows-11-24h2-supported-qualcomm-processors'
    ]

    url_list = [ f"{base_url}/{brand}" for brand in brand_proco_url ]

    updated_date = None
    for url in url_list:
        date = bs_find_custom(url, "meta", "name", "updated_at", proxies=proxies).get('content', '')
        date_to_version = date.split('T', 1)[0].replace('-', '.')
        if updated_date or Version(date_to_version) > Version(updated_date):
            updated_date = date_to_version

    print(f"Latest version found for Windows 11 supported processors is {updated_date}")
I just replayed the update package and the latest version is still from 30/10/2025, so it's normal that the package hasn't changed.

Sincerely
Gwenaël

Hello,

Yes, but the page https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windo ... processors (like the one for the 25H2) does contain the tag

So there's a problem...

Well, it seems that's because of

Code: Select all

if updated_date or Version(date_to_version) > Version(updated_date):
If updated_date is defined, it updates the version.
But if the latest version tested is inferior to the previous one (as is the case with Intel > Qualcomm), it will update to an inferior version...

Code: Select all

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-24h2-supported-amd-processors : 2025.10.30
maj updated_date None -> 2025.10.30
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-24h2-supported-intel-processors : 2026.02.11
maj updated_date 2025.10.30 -> 2026.02.11
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-24h2-supported-qualcomm-processors : 2025.10.30
maj updated_date 2026.02.11 -> 2025.10.30
Latest version found for Windows 11 supported processors is 2025.10.30
I therefore suggest replacing

Code: Select all

if updated_date or Version(date_to_version) > Version(updated_date):
by

Code: Select all

if Version(date_to_version) > Version(updated_date):

Hello,

Yes, there was a small bug with the AMD part! I've fixed the update_package; the package is available in pre-production and will be in production in one hour.
