Problem: Forgotten package

Hello,

I accidentally added a packet block to all my computers using "CTRL + A". I should have added the packet block to the group.
Now I'm stuck trying to remove it from all the machines... Is there a solution?

For your information, I wanted to remove a packet, but since I can't remotely access the computers, I'm forced to use this method.

Thank you.

Hi floflobel,

to disable a package "blocking" you can use the opposite function, which is "allow packages".

For your information, to remove a package in bulk, I use a fixup package.
Basically, I have an smp-fixupwapt package assigned to all PCs to regularly correct small mistakes and tweaks I want to make.

smp-fixupwapt is available here:
https://wapt.lesfourmisduweb.org/wapt/

So even if the machine is turned off, the fix will still be applied later. This isn't possible with the package removal command in the console,

Simon.

Thanks for your help, "Allow package" works perfectly.
I'll take a closer look at your package, but at first glance it looks very interesting. ;)

Where do you find functions like WAPT.is_installed?

I looked in setuphelpers but I don't see anything.
