Service on pause
Published: Dec 14, 2016 - 11:27
Hello,
Currently, all new user workstations on which we apply images install the WAPT agent as soon as a domain account is logged in (via a login script).
The agent installs correctly, however, a command further down in the script that installs a WAPT package group fails.
I've found the reason why. The WAPT agent is indeed installed but is paused, which prevents the package group from installing. It's impossible to resume the service, resulting in an error. I therefore have to uninstall the agent and reinstall it manually for it to install correctly and
achieve an active status. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? Note that not all workstations are affected by this problem, and package installation works correctly in other cases.
Thank you.
