Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Wapt agent on a computer

Hello,

Due to a recurring issue (the Wapt tray icon has stopped working) on a computer, I removed the affected computer from the Wapt console ("Delete the machine and its configuration") and then uninstalled the Wapt service (using unins000.exe).
Two DLLs could not be deleted from the c:/Wapt folder: libeay32.dll and libzmq.dll (these are open in the Kaspersky agent).
Therefore, the c:/wapt folder cannot be deleted.

I then reinstalled using the waptagent (which most likely overwrote the aforementioned folder). Everything went smoothly, but I can't find the computer in the inventory...

Does anyone have any idea how to get this PC back in the inventory?

Thank you,
Franck.

Hello,

To re-register the device in the WAPT console, use the command line: `wapt-get register` (https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/Utilisation/ ... t-register).

The device will then reappear in the WAPT console.

To completely uninstall the agent with Kaspersky, temporarily disable the Kaspersky agent and then restart the uninstallation process.
