- WAPT server OS: Debian 13
- Administration machine operating system: Windows Server 2022 Standard

Good morning,

According to my tests, the tis-rustdesk-config-template package does not work on a Linux agent (Debian 13 in my case) because it uses the "service_is_running" function which seems to exist only for Windows (cf. https://www.wapt.fr/apidoc/wapt-2.3/win ... is_running)

For my part, I bypassed the problem by creating a package used solely for my Linux agents and which uses a custom function:

Code: Select all

import subprocess

def systemd_is_active(servicename):
    return subprocess.call(['systemctl', 'is-active', '--quiet', servicename]) == 0

Hi Marc,

yes, the `service_is_running` function is declared as supported on all three platforms (Windows, Linux, and macOS), but it's not declared in `setuphelpers_linux.py`... I'll check with the development team to fix this.

In the meantime, your fix is great. Best :-)

Denis
