yes, it seems so.
I think I've found the solution:

Using a remote access tool:

stop the WAPT service
, rename the files in wpat\db\waptdb...
restart the service
, re-register the machine with WAPT (wapt-get register).
The two files will be recreated...

for my part, I restored a VM before the update (yes, mea culpa, I should have taken a snapshot... ouch, don't hit me :-)).
Then I redeployed an .ini file to set these two variables to 0 and then restarted the WAPT service.
