I'm following up on this topic because two of our servers are also getting an "Invalid Variant type" error on WUA and are unable to install the pending May updates.
Note that these are the only two servers with the WAPT administration console.

I have a quick question. Having received our new WAPT license, is it possible to add it to the console ahead of schedule, i.e., before its start date, while leaving the current license in place?
