Re: WAPTEXIT

Email sent ;)

Thanks for the documentation!

Performing this step manually on a corrupted machine works:

Delete the file: `file:`c:\\windows\\system32\\GroupPolicy\\gpt.ini`
then
`wapt-get add-upgrade-shutdown`.

I'm now going to deploy a script that does this...

Re: WAPTEXIT

Surprisingly, when I delete wapt-exit.exe from the local policies and then manually add it back, it starts working.

Yet the original path is correct: "c:\wapt\waptexit.exe".

I can't do this on every computer in my network; it would take me weeks!

Re: WAPTEXIT

"- What is the result of the command: wapt-get add-upgrade-shutdown"

--> I specify that wapexit.exe was already present in the local shutdown policies.

Re: Wapt Client Update

Thank you, yes, that's exactly what I did.

I was misled by the package description which indicated that "allow_cancel_upgrade = 0" was set, without bothering to check the script beforehand.

Thank you very much for your quick response!

--- > I tested your package before deploying it, it works, but I don't have "allow_cancel_upgrade=0" but "notify_user=0" in the wapt-get.ini file. Is that the same thing? This "notify_user" doesn't appear in any documentation on the site.

WAPTEXIT

Hello,

"WAPTexit.exe," which is supposed to launch when workstations are shut down to apply updates, doesn't always work on my network.

I tested it on two Windows 7 machines that have pending updates.

The WAPTexit file is correctly configured in the local group policy...

Re: Wapt Client Update

Thank you so much!

This is exactly what I needed; I hadn't seen this package.

Thank you! :)

Wapt Client Update

Hello,

I'm trying to update the Wapt-get.ini file on all the workstations in my network to include `
allow_cancel_upgrade=0`, which allows me to force updates when the PC is shut down.

To do this, I modify the .ini file directly on the server and then generate a client via...
