Listen, I have no idea if it's Proxmox or something else... It's all completely beyond me, and it's hosted with Proxgroup.

I'm thinking of doing a clean install from Debian 8.7 to see if that helps. Is WAPT 1.5 theoretically compatible?

Indeed, running systemctl the other way around works better...

ntp is installed correctly, but I'm still getting:
Failed to enable unit: File ntpd.service: No such file or directory.

Actually, I think this is normal on a recent distribution, from what I've read...

I reinstalled my VPS with Debian 8 and then upgraded it to 9.3, so the packages you mentioned were already there.

Now, after correctly installing NTP, I have:
root@SERVER:~# systemctl ntpd.service enable ...
