when I try to update the MSI in the tis-microsoft-edge package, it downloads the same version (79.0.309.68) but not the latest version (83).

The package has been added to the Store: https://store.wapt.fr/store/tis-npcap

Please note that the installation is not silent, so you will need to type the command "wapt-get install tis-npcap" on the machine in question. (The uninstallation is silent).

Could this be related to the Great Firewall of China (GFoC)? Do you have a filtering firewall that's performing Man-in-the-Middle attacks with a wildcard certificate? Do you have an overzealous proxy server?

The first thing to test is to verify that you can successfully connect to the store website...
