Re: Updating the repositories

However, regarding replication, if I understand the documentation correctly, I'm a little worried:
One method uses Syncthing, which is still available but has significant deprecated warnings.
A more recent method is only available in the enterprise version
. The Syncthing method is going to be discontinued. The other...

Re: Updating the repositories

Oh no, my mistake, I just checked the package sizes, they include the executables.
So I'm good to go with replication!
I'll dive right into the documentation.
Best regards,
Laurent

Re: Updating the repositories

Thank you for your answers and your patience.
The files passing through the client are indeed very small files (just Python files), and with the added use of the proxy, we shouldn't be far from saturating the link, should we? A packet, in the WAPT sense, is a set of instructions; you...

Re: Updating the repositories

So I have the Tranquilit repository configured, and it does appear in the external repositories
(Screenshot 2020-07-06 at 09:49:24.png)
, but if I try to create a new package group or dependency, no Tranquilit package appears
(Screenshot-2020-07-06-at-09:48:11.gif).

If I'm on a...

Re: Updating the repositories

Hello,
I've updated my server, agent, and console to version 1.8.2.
It still doesn't seem to be working.
I may have made a mistake in the configuration. Here's the content of the configuration file, which has three parts:
a global section,
a WAPT section...

Re: Updating the repositories

Thank you for all your replies. I'm on version 1.8.1.6756 and not 1.8.2, but that shouldn't change the behavior, right?

So I modified the files as described in the documentation. I thought there was an error in the documentation and that I needed to modify
%appdata%\local\waptconsole\waptconsole.ini,
so I added...

Re: Updating the repositories

Hello,
I followed your advice and the documentation.
There were no problems configuring the clients;
wapt-get search and wapt-get install work fine, and
the console is also configured.
However, I can't create a package group that has dependencies on the TIS repository. A package group doesn't...

Updating the repositories

Hello,

I've installed a WAPT server (on Debian 10) and a console on a Windows 10 machine.

I'd like to know the possible update strategy with respect to remote repositories. Specifically, if I import a package, I create a new package in my local repository.
For example: I...

Ports assigned to the wapt server

Hello everyone.

I think I'll soon be able to test a WAPT server for software deployment. However, the machines on which I plan to deploy it already use an Apache server that uses ports 80 and 443.

The documentation clearly states that these ports will be used by the...
