Re: Multi-site repository on client
Hello,
I'm in a similar situation, only with fewer sites. So I have the same question as you... Have you decided how to do it?
Simon, could you tell us what hardware is recommended for a local WAPT repository?
Thank you,
Best regards,
Nathanaël

Re: Renaming Machines
Hello,
Yes, I think I'll go with that; it's simple and practical (no need to restart the computer).
Thank you,
Nathanaël

Re: Your methods for staying informed about the latest software updates
Hello,
is there currently a way to be notified of updates published on the public repository for locally imported packages?
Thank you,

Re: Renaming Machines
Hello,
yes, changing the PC name in Windows does work.
However, our PCs are named with a number and not with the users' first and last names.
It's much simpler to find a PC by the name of the person using it.
We need to look into the naming strategy...

Re: Renaming Machines
Hello,
I'm also looking to rename the machines so I can easily distinguish and identify them.
Have you found a way to do this?
Thank you very much,
Nathanaël
