Hello,
Following a WAPT deployment with Windows Update management,
users can no longer use the Microsoft Store to download, for example, Ubuntu, Windows Terminal, etc.
Do you have a solution to suggest?
Thank you in advance.
Dawid

WAPT's goal is to give users control over the software they install on their computers. The Windows Store is pretty much the opposite... Besides, managing apps in user directories isn't exactly a perfect solution!
WAPT Windows Update manages the Windows Update service (which is also used by the Windows Store) and restarts it on demand when needed to prevent certain aggressive update behaviors that Microsoft has exhibited in the past.
What use case do you need this functionality for? Actually, we haven't received this request yet. Do your users use the Store's graphical interface, or do you need to install app packages on demand?
Best regards,
Denis

Hello,
We need the Windows Store to download the following apps:
-> Windows Terminal
-> Ubuntu (for our web developers)
-> Printers app
---> Furthermore, without the Windows Store, applications like Microsoft To Do cannot update.
Users currently use the Store interface directly.
Sincerely,
Dawid
