Hello everyone,
I've been using the Community version for several months. According to the documentation, setting up a secondary server is a feature exclusive to the Enterprise license. Is that correct?
If so, is there another way to set up WAPT "proxy" servers at multiple geographically distant sites?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards.

Good morning
The Discovery version allows Tranquil IT to fulfill its original promise of having a tool to help sysadmins deploy, update, configure and remove software on a local network of up to 300 devices.
Use cases involving remote repositories will be better supported with an Enterprise version, as this use case is natively supported in the product version.

Your message suggests that it's possible to set up remote repositories with the Discovery version. Is that correct? I can't find any documentation on this for the Discovery version.
Thank you in advance,
Sincerely.

Hello ng3,
Remote repositories are copies of the main repository. You can use rsync or another method. You can find a documentation example using Syncthing in the version 1.8.2 documentation.
After that, you need to change the configurations on the workstations to point to their local repository. However, if the workstation changes sites, you need to modify the repository using a script (this is done dynamically in the enterprise version).
Regards,
Denis
