Hello,
We use Wapt to deploy packages like Chrome, Firefox, etc.
We have a problem related to updating these programs. We don't necessarily check for new versions of these programs every day.
However, we have a web development department that absolutely needs the latest versions to meet client needs.
I understand why Wapt manages software updates, but is it possible to give certain experienced users control over this aspect and allow them to update the software themselves?
Sincerely,

Hello,

In WAPT's security model, the WAPT administrator validates and signs the updates distributed across their network.

So, even if it takes you 10 minutes every day, it's still important to do this.

Furthermore, if you have a developer on your team who can assist you, you can create a certificate for them that you deploy to the developers' PCs so they can manage the updates for their own PC and those of their colleagues. They then become a WAPT administrator, and the security model remains intact.
