Hello everyone,

I currently have Wapt on my computer network. It works quite well, however I have two problems.
  • I would like to lock the installation when the workstation shuts down so that users cannot cancel it.

I found the following information regarding waptexit (http://lists.tranquil.it/pipermail/wapt ... 00861.html) but I don't fully understand the procedure. I have modified the agent in the past, but it fails to reinstall itself via GPO on the old one, so I am hesitant to modify it again.
Have you ever encountered either of these two problems? If so, do you have any suggestions?.

Thank you so much.

This package does the job: https://wapt.lesfourmisduweb.org/wapt/s ... 4_all.wapt

You just need to deploy it on the relevant workstations

Only for large packages?

Otherwise, as stated in the link:
Port 8088 is the default port that the wapt server uses to get immediate feedback on the status of the client's waptservice.

So, look for it at this level

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll check the open ports in the firewall. :D

I have another quick question. Do you have any suggestions regarding machines that have the WAPT agent installed but aren't showing up in the console?
I'm getting an error with `wapt-get register` and I think it's a firewall issue.

In your screenshot, wapt is requesting access through the service.
It's asking for a username and password for a local user on the machine who is an administrator.

To avoid using the service, run your command prompt as administrator (right-click on cmd, then select "Run as administrator").
