Hello,

we have a machine running Ubuntu 24.04. We registered the machine in the console, however, we are getting a dependency error with the waptupgrade package. I think this is because the agent for version 24.04 is not yet available?

Is an agent planned for this OS version, and if so, is there any visibility on its release?

Thank you.
Environment information:
WAPT Server OS version: Debian 12;
WAPT version: 2.6.0.16937 (Enterprise Edition);
OS of the machine from which the packages are created: Windows 10 22H2;
Secondary repository: Ubuntu 22.04

Hi Guillaume,

we just released a new version of WAPT 2.5.5 and added support for Ubuntu 24.04. We took this opportunity to work on a distribution-independent agent for the next WAPT 2.6 release. We'll have a single agent deb package per architecture (Intel 32, Intel 64, ARM 32, ARM 64) for all Debian 10 and above and Ubuntu 16.04 and above. The problem shouldn't arise with the next Ubuntu or Debian release :-)

. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm marking the topic as resolved.

Best regards,

Denis
