Hello

, randomly, sometimes all the .crt files (in C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\ssl) are renamed with ".upgrade" at the end.
As a result, the machine becomes unmanageable.
What is the cause and how can I prevent this from happening?

Thank you in advance. :)

Hi Thomas,

most likely the problem is that an antivirus program blocked the installation midway through.

That said, the change from .crt to .upgrade is related to how the innosetup upgrade (the tool used to install the WAPT agent) was performed in older versions. This method was changed in WAPT 2.5, and renaming the .cert files to .upgrade during the upgrade process is no longer necessary when upgrading from a version > 2.5.0.

We'll see if we can modify innosetup to behave differently for upgrades from a version > 2.5.0.

However, this won't solve the antivirus issues that are blocking the installation...

Best regards,

Denis
