Good morning,
I have a new problem regarding the upgrade of wapt 2.5.5 to 2.6.0.16767. Right-clicking on the wapttray icon in the notification area, then selecting "show software status," causes wapttray to crash with the following error:
Screenshot 2025-01-13 122758.png
Screenshot 2025-01-13 122758.png (12.48 KB) Viewed 2698 times
Wapttray needs to be restarted; everything else seems to be working normally. Is this a known issue? The error message is completely unfamiliar, and it's happening on all our computers.
Authentication is done in waptserver-ldap mode.
THANKS! 😇

Hello,

thank you for your feedback.

We had indeed forgotten about that button, but we will remove it (since the self-service already performs this filtering).

Following security audits, we were advised to limit the display of information to unauthenticated users only.

The simplest solution in your case would therefore be to enable the self-service, which effectively limits the display of visible packets to those who are currently connected. ;)

Hi Yoann,

I've submitted an internal ticket for this bug; it should be fixed in the next release. Thanks for reporting the bug.

Best regards,

Denis
