Hello,
We are currently testing WAPT Enterprise, and I am working on deploying the operating systems (Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04).
The WAPT Server version is 2.6.0.17293.
Installing Windows 11 went smoothly, but I haven't been able to deploy Ubuntu.
Booting via the network works fine, but it doesn't seem to retrieve and use the answer file; it just asks me questions (language, etc.).
I followed these instructions for DHCP configuration: https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/wapt-wads.ht ... figuration
and these for deploying the Linux machine:https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/quickstart-w ... linux.html.
Using the configuration wads_template/linux/conf/ubuntu/config_ubuntu_desktop.conf but removing the 'late-commands' section (for testing outside the domain for now).
When I look at the Ubuntu logs (cloud-init.log), I see that it tries to download the autoinstall file twice.
The first time, main.py[DEBUG]: retrieving url 'http://admin:...' (I cut it off) (Caused by NameResolutionError("
a second time main.py[WARNING]: retrieving url 'http://admin:...' (I cut it out) failed: 401 Client Error: UNAUTHORIZED for url
I'm stuck, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hello,
I just tried again with Ubuntu.
Indeed, in the mode:
`login_on_wads = True`
and `list_subnet_skip_login_wads =
`, it doesn't work. The given password isn't used by Ubuntu in the `cloud-config-url`.
Adding it as a token in the URL parameter wouldn't be very clean, so I need to see if I can find an alternative.
Try adding:
`list_subnet_skip_login_wads=192.168.1.0/24`
to `/opt/wapt/conf/waptserver.ini`
. Then restart the WAPT server.
This will prevent authentication from being required for the subnet in question.
