Hello everyone
, I'm having package update problems with Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC.
If I let WAPT update packages when I log off, I almost always get a timeout error, whereas with a regular Windows 11 Enterprise installation, there's no problem.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Pb wapt et windows 11 ltsc

Hi Irving,
what version of Wapt are you using? What edition of Wapt?
I'm not aware of any issues with Win11 LTSC, but we'll check anyway (I know it works with Win10 LTSC at least). We have a Win11 LTSC license available for testing at the office; I'll see with my colleagues if we can reproduce the problem.
For your information, the Wapt installer adds a local GPO in "Local Computer Policy" / "Computer Configuration" / "Windows Settings" / "Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)" / "System Shutdown". You can check that the call to waptexit.exe is correctly configured there.
You can also check in your antivirus console to see if there's a block at this level that might differ from Win11 Pro.
You can also try running waptexit.exe manually to see if it successfully installs the packages.
Best regards,
Denis

I'm on Discovery version 2.6.0.17392. I noticed this issue when updating the Workspace LTSR package.
When I run WaptExit while the session is still open, there's no problem.
But when it runs at logoff, I get a timeout.
The GPO is present, and I don't have any antivirus installed except Windows Defender.

Hi again Irving,
is this a Windows 11 2024 Enterprise IoT LTSC or just a regular Enterprise LTSC (non-IoT)? Is it running on ARM64 for an AMD64?
Regards,
Denis

Hi Irving,
sorry, I haven't had time, I have quite a few other things to deal with. Support for paying customers is of course a priority, and there are other tickets to handle right now. The forum remains a "community" space, not a ticketing system, even though the Tranquil IT team is quite active.
We'll update the thread when we have a bit more time.
Best regards,
Denis

Hello,
after several tests, the problem encountered is essentially with the Citrix Workspace ltsr package.
