Hello,
I'm looking for a solution to meet my needs.
The need:
To allow users to access an application catalog so they can select the applications they want on their workstations. Once selected, the application would install itself on the workstation.
Main constraint:
Multiple forests, without existing trust relationships.
Solutions considered:
Kace K1000,
SCCM
, WAPT.
My question:
I'd like to know if WAPT meets my needs, taking into account the major constraint of my project?
Thank you for your response.

The feature you are looking for on wapt is the waptselfservice featureYannka wrote:Hello,

Users in the domain's waptselfservice group can install packages
Simply create a waptselfservice group on each forestYannka wrote:

Thank you for the reply.
Then, by creating a waptselfservice group on forests B, C, D and E, is that enough to connect to the server on forest A?
Let me reiterate: forests do not communicate with each other at all.
Let's imagine that I install the server on forest A.sfonteneau wrote:Simply create a waptselfservice group on each forestYannka wrote:

The remote sites don't communicate with each other?
It's still possible, but it all depends on the operating mode you want; Wapt is very modular.
Can you describe the constraints of your project in more detail?
The forests
