Hello

, is it possible to disable automatic updates for Tchap by default in this package?

Currently, there's a delay between the release of a new version of Tchap and its availability on WAPT.

In the meantime, our users (with restricted accounts) can no longer launch the application.
It systematically requests the update and therefore elevated privileges to install.

Sincerely,

Hello,

By default, there is a 5-day retention period between the release of a software update and its publication on the WAPT store, allowing for testing with antivirus software, among other things.
We have removed the retention period for this application, which should resolve the issue.

Sincerely

The issue doesn't seem to be limited to deployment via Wapt.
There's a similar request on Tchap's GitHub repository: https://github.com/tchapgouv/tchap-desktop/issues/140 from an SCCM user.

We can't disable automatic updates in our package since they're integrated directly into the software; we can only ensure that the available software is always the latest version. We can only hope that the request on GitHub is successful.
