Hello everyone,
I recently configured a WAPT Enterprise server. Everything is working; package deployment and management are functioning correctly, as is integration with my Active Directory. However, I'm having trouble with Self Service management. I can create a group, synchronize with AD, my domain controllers are recognized, and I can add packages... Except that after clicking "Save," the window closes and asks for my key password... But nothing is saved!
I don't know if anyone has encountered this problem before... I've double-checked my settings, and I don't think I've made any mistakes, but just in case.
Thank you for your help,
Nicolas

Hello
, could you please specify your WAPT version?
Perhaps there's an ACL issue with the self-service package upload?

Hello,
Sorry, I forgot to mention that. It's WAPT version 2.6. So I didn't see the line in the Private Repository tab, but it does appear. That being said, my Self-Service is still not working. Is it an
ACL issue related to the admin or the AD group?
Thank you for your help,
Nicolas

Wait, I'm confused, has the self-service rule pack actually been created?nicolas.caron wrote: ↑Apr 1, 2026 - 8:26 AM So I didn't see the line in the Private Deposit tab, but it does appear. That being said, my Self-Service is still not functional.

Excuse me, let me provide some context. So, I successfully created the Self-Service package, but it's still not appearing on the target machine. I've assigned the package to the correct OU.

Just to try it out on the machine, in an admin command prompt you can run:
`wapt-get update`
`wapt-get install packagenameselfservice`
`wapt-get update`
`wapt-get install packagenameselfservice`

Thank you for your reply. It's working now, and it helped me figure out the problem. I think the switch to HTTPS caused some minor certificate issues. It installs with admin authentication but not with a regular authenticated account...
I'll look into it and keep you posted.

Hello,
Yes, I did have a certificate issue. This problem had side effects on the deployment and use of the self-service portal.
I probably mishandled the switch from HTTP to HTTPS; I've gone through all the installation steps again and corrected a few errors.
Everything is working now, thank you for your help,
Nicolas
