Error 1638 with wapt-vcredist2015-2022 14.44.35211.0-29 when x64 components are already installed

I'm having a problem with the package:

- Package: wapt-vcredist2015-2022
- Version: 14.44.35211.0-29
- WAPT Agent: 2.6.1
- System: Windows x64

This package is installed as a dependency of an Adobe package.

However, x64 detection fails and the package attempts to restart
VC_redist.x64.exe:

The Microsoft installer then returns code 1638:

Is it possible to fix this small bug?

Thank you for your reply, I'll look into it. However, our store has a newer version of VCredist 2015-2022 (14.51.36247). Would it be possible for you to try again with this latest version? To see if you get the same error.
Could you please tell me which Adobe package you are trying to install?

, I had the same problem. I was using version 14.44.3521 "windows(>=6.0)" and the update 14.51.36247 is for "windows(>=10)"

. This happened to me with several packages. For some, it seemed strange that there hadn't been an update for a while, while others, like the vcredist error, prompted me to investigate the cause.
