Hello,
First of all, congratulations on this tool, it's really great!
I'm facing a problem on 3 PCs with identical configurations (ACER TMP 455). I have a GPO that automatically installs WAPT upon joining the domain. On all 3 PCs, the installation goes smoothly, but the WAPTService remains "paused" even after forcing a restart.
In the Event Viewer, I see these two messages:
- The expected action of the WAPTService for return code 3221225794 is: Restart. Attempting to restart C:\wapt\waptpython.exe
- The WAPTService was active for less than 1500 milliseconds. Its restart will be delayed by 128000 milliseconds.
Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks!

Good morning,
A few quick questions to better understand the problem:
Sincerely,

A few quick questions to better understand the problem:
- - Which version of WAPT is being used?
- Which version of Windows is being used?
Sincerely,
Alexander
Hello,
thank you for your quick reply!
I found the problem.
If it's helpful to others, the issue was that the TPM security setting needed to be disabled in the motherboard BIOS.
Thanks again for this great tool, which greatly reduces my workload as an RSI (Response Support Engineer).

Ah, that's both interesting and worrying. We'd like to know more about it, especially since it poses a problem for encrypted laptops.
Are there any Windows log entries related to this issue that we could investigate?
Sincerely,
Alexandre

Sorry for the late reply. The only items showing up in the Event Viewer are those mentioned in my first post (what's causing Windows...
). I had to dig quite a bit to find a solution, even though I'd almost given up hope.
I'm going to try a deployment in the next few days on a ruggedized laptop with a fully encrypted hard drive. I'll let you know if I encounter the same problem.
