Hello,
I've been testing Samba 4 for a year now (after using Samba 3 for 15 years) with various services like Moodle, FreeRADIUS, WPA2 Enterprise, etc., and I find this new development very good.
I have a question about user quotas because I haven't seen anything about it on this site or on the Samba website either.
How can quotas be configured?
Via RSAT?
Do Unix accounts need to be used simultaneously?
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

We use user and group quotas with Linux quotas. We haven't created any UNIX accounts on the server (except for the admin-root account), as Samba/Winbindd handles account/UID management.
We had a (non-critical) issue and used this forum to report it: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=808
Quota management is done with classic tools (quotacheck, repquota, ...) or via webmin.
