Good morning,
wapt server 1.5.1.23 installed on a stable Debian system
The console is also installed on a stable Debian system with WINE.
When using the console, a window remains displayed:
I can't figure out where the problem is coming from.
And I don't know what kind of load it is.
Furthermore, I don't know who to blame: Server, console or client?
For your information, I am currently testing wapt, so I am not using DNS, everything is configured with hardcoded IP addresses (in http) and everything seems to be working correctly.
Thank you for your help

Hello,
you have a Warrior configuration, WINE, and no DNS. This isn't a common setup, and I'm not sure you'll get many responses to your post on this forum.
Why don't you first try the console on a standard Windows 7 or Windows 10 machine, just to test the tool and start benefiting from its advantages while gaining some experience?
With a little experience, WAPT can help you set up a DNS system. I guarantee that a high-performing DNS is a real asset for any network. WAPT relies heavily on DNS to deliver its promised security benefits.
Console support with WINE isn't a priority for Tranquil IT; it's just a fun feature we discovered was possible. We might WINE support in the future, as several people want the console with Linux, and we don't plan to have a web console in the medium term for security and long-term viability reasons.
At Tranquil IT, we assume that someone who has to manage a Windows environment will have a Windows machine, physical or virtual, readily available. This assumption isn't entirely unreasonable, is it?
Good luck with your endeavors.
