Package TIS-dotnetfx3.5

Good morning

I downloaded the TIS-dotnetfx3.5 package and I'm trying to deploy it on a few machines (Windows 10), but I keep getting this error message:

Is this a problem with the package or with my infrastructure/client?

Is this a problem with the package or with my infrastructure/client?

I think the dotnetfx3.5 installer isn't the same for Windows 7 and Windows 10, and the one that's packaged is the one for Windows 7. Could you try unzipping the package and running the MSI manually to check the error message?.

Hi Denis,

Looking at the Python code in the package, if the Windows version is higher than 6.1, then it runs a DISM command. So the executable isn't the problem. However, the DISM command requires a "source" parameter. Generally, when I do a manual installation of .NET 3.5, I mount a Windows 10 ISO and specify the path to sources\sxs. Perhaps you should include the CAB file in your package?
