I see the Office 2016 suite is generating a lot of discussion!
I saw Simon's suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work for me. The installation goes smoothly, no problem there, but the activation doesn't seem to work.
Also, has anyone managed to eliminate the startup windows for the various applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)?
By "window," I mean:
- The one related to "Let's start from the beginning," which asks if you want to "Install only updates" or "Ask me later."
- The one related to choosing the file format the application opens, which, if you forget to check the "Don't ask again next time" box, bothers the user every time the application is opened.
Is there any way, in your opinion, to prevent these windows from appearing and thus avoid the user making unfortunate choices due to lack of knowledge?
Thank you.
Patrice

But sometimes the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16OSPP.VBS does not exist...
It might be in C:\Program Files
Perhaps this can be configured in the MSP file?Patrice_minagri wrote: ↑Sep 27, 2018 - 7:07 PM Next, has anyone managed to eliminate the startup windows of various applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)?

Otherwise : http://www.tutos.eu/?n=7828
Otherwise: you need to perform a registry scan between before and after configuration to find the modified files and registry

Regarding the MSP file, I didn't see that option.
But you're right, the registry shot could be quite revealing!
Thanks for your quick response.
