Samba 4.5.12 and WDS

Hello,

we are encountering a problem when trying to start WDS on a 2012 R2 server with a Samba 4.5.12 Active Directory.

The question is: is this due to an incompatibility with Samba or not?

I know of organizations that use WDS 2012R2 and Samba-AD and it works. And they were at one point on Samba-AD version 4.5, even though they have since been upgraded (version 4.5 is no longer maintained by the Samba team; it is recommended to stay a maximum of 2 versions behind the current version, i.e., version 4.7, 4.8, or 4.9).
