Hello,
I removed the smp-waptupgrade-xxx package from the private repository because a newer version existed.
I tried to import the new package from the internet (source used: https://wapt.lesfourmisduweb/wapt) but received the following error message: "Download canceled: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden".
When I go directly to the source website to manually download the package, I get the same problem (403 Forbidden).
Any idea what the problem might be and how to get this package back?
Thanks in advance!
Unable to download smp-waptupgrade-xxx

Hello Eaux de Vienne,
That's normal; you don't need to download this package because it's automatically created when you create a new version of the WAPT agent from the console.
Regards,
Denis

Hello,
thank you, that's what I thought... I'm not sure what the consequences would be if I recreated a new version of the WAPT agent from the console. Will it then be necessary to redeploy the agent to the workstations?
Thank you.

Hello Eaux de Vienne,
Sincerely,
Denis
To perform an update, you must first install the new waptsetup on the management machine, then recreate the agent via the console. Creating the waptagent.exe file will simultaneously recreate the xxx-waptupgrade package.Eaux de Vienne wrote: ↑July 11, 2019 - 1:09 PM Hello,

Hello,
we manage the system directly from the server (the console is installed on the server). According to the documentation, if I understand correctly, waptsetup.exe installs the management console. Couldn't I simply recreate the agent via the existing console to generate the missing waptupgrade package?
Thank you.

Hello Eaux de Vienne,
Sincerely,

waptsetup.exe is installed along with the server on Windows. No need to install it separately.Eaux de Vienne wrote: ↑July 12, 2019 - 9:09 AM We manage directly from the server (the console is installed on the server). That's exactly what the documentation says. Once the Windows server is up to date, the console will also be up to date.Eaux de Vienne wrote: ↑Jul 12, 2019 - 09:09 Couldn't I just recreate the agent via the existing console to generate the lost waptupgrade package?
