Hello,
I currently have a package that attempts to move a shortcut to a folder in the Windows Start Menu.
I usually handle this scenario very well. It's not complicated in principle.
However, the problem arises when the application that creates the shortcut is installed, and its name contains an accented character.
In my case, it's the shortcut 'Emailer Mél.lnk', on which I use the filecoyto function.
If I store this character in a variable, the code execution tells me there's an ASCII code issue.
How can I handle this accented character problem when managing folders and files in WAPT?

Could you please provide us with the code and the error message?
Are you able to delete the shortcut? If so, you can manually add the shortcut without accents.
Try using the functions:
create_desktop_shortcut
and remove_desktop_shortcut.
Updating your WAPT server would also be advisable, if possible.
