Good morning,

we are trying to set up the packages profile as explained in the documentation: https://www.wapt.fr/fr/doc/WAPT.pdf#page=21

We created a WAPT OU, with a WAPT-GaphPad security group, into which we add our PC.
On WAPT, we created it via the button New AD job profile a group named WAPT_GraphPad.
On the workstation, edit the wapt-get.ini file and add the following line to [global]:

Code: Select all

use_ad_groups=1
then a gpupdate /force and a reboot.

After logging in, WAPT does not detect any updates to be made.
A gpresult /r command clearly indicates that the AD group is back on the same machine.

Has an error crept into the procedure described?
THANKS

Solution found by support.
I created the package incorrectly.

The AD group name should be entered in the Package Group field, not in the description. :lol:

For your information, the AD group name must be in lowercase. No uppercase letters.
However, special characters work.

Thank you.
