Hello everyone,
During the installation of our WAPT Community server, option #3 was chosen as the authentication method for machine registration (requires WAPT authentication for machine registration. The WAPT server will request the SuperAdmin password for each new registration).
We would like to install the agent silently without using GPOs for the time being.
However, we can't find a way to pass the password silently.
Is this possible?
Thank you in advance,
Martin

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Indeed, once the agent is installed, using the command "wapt-get register --wapt-server-user=admin --wapt-server-passwd=password" my computer registers on the server if it wasn't already.
However, during the client installation (waptagent.exe /VERYSILENT), the "Credential for wapt server" window still appears at the end, asking for the password.
Even with this behavior, it should be sufficient for our needs; we'll find a workaround to make it work, as the requirement isn't critical.
Thank you very much,
MM
