Hello,
I'm looking for a package to edit wapt-get.ini on all my clients by completely rewriting it. I've only found a way to add a line to the file. But I'd like to modify the main repository on all machines.
I have a big problem: I've created a relationship with Active Directory for all my groups. As soon as a PC connects to WAPT, I assign the "world" group, which is the main group, to the first group. When I create a relationship with Active Directory, it correctly assigns the group I defined on the PC in Active Directory.
This group has another group as a dependency, which also has a dependency. This allows me to deploy the software wherever I want.
* WORLD
*** GROUP1
****** GROUP2
********* GROUP_RELATION_AD
The problem is that if I make my software dependent on the "world" group, I can't tell group2_4 that it doesn't have the right to install the software because otherwise it uninstalls all the groups. It's the same when I tell just one PC not to install this software; it deletes the World group and all the others.
I think there's just a missing distinction between groups and software, as well as between software groups.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
wapt-get.ini & group problem

After searching a bit, I found what I needed for wpat-get.ini:
Code: Select all
# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-
from setuphelpers import *
uninstallkey = []
def install():
inifile_writestring(WAPT.config_filename,'global','repo_url','https://newadressip/wapt')
inifile_writestring(WAPT.config_filename,'global','wapt_serveur','https://newadressip')
