Hello everyone,
I've noticed today that we're having time issues. When I check my domain workstations, it seems they're not all set to the same time (a difference of 1 or 2 minutes, or even 4 minutes for some).
Furthermore, I've set up an MDT server to prepare my workstations, but after MDT, they always end up with a time difference of several hours and fail to synchronize.
I was wondering if Samba sends time information during domain integration?
Given the discrepancy, some workstations can't retrieve GPOs. Have any of you encountered this problem before?
I tried the documentation I found on adding NTP to Samba, but without success. When I run `w32tm /query /source`, I get "Local CMOS clock".
Thanks in advance!
PS: I just ran w32tm /monitor on my own machine to get some information. On my primary Samba domain controller, I have a RefID that is 'INIT' [0x54494E49], while my secondary controller correctly points to an NTP server. However, there is still a time discrepancy. My concern is that after the time change, the machines are not adjusting accordingly.

After performing several checks, I was able to gather some more information. My workstations are indeed stuck on retrieving the time from my Samba4 server.
I restarted the following procedure: https://dev.tranquil.it/samba/fr/samba_ ... ebian.html but it's still failing.
I'm getting an error indicating that I have no response or that I haven't received a response within the allotted time from my Samba server. Have you ever encountered this?
