Good morning,

I tried to update my WAPT server from Debian 10 to Debian 11, but after the update, the service waptserver it was no longer working.

The newspapers tell me that some Python modules are missing, yet they are properly installed.
Upon further investigation, I found this in the code of /opt/wapt/bin/pip which intrigued me:

Code: Select all

#!/opt/buildbot/basedir/wapt-build-debian-10-packages/build/waptserver/deb/builddir/opt/wapt/bin/python
I tried modifying it to target the correct executable. To no avail.

I also tried reinstalling pip in the wapt directory to install the missing modules, but I'm stuck on some of them.

Am I the only one who's had this problem? Could I have missed a step? Should I wait before updating?

PS: I upgraded to Enterprise version 2.0.9450 beforehand, obviously, and I went back to Debian 10 thanks to a snapshot.

Sincerely,

Étienne

Hello

, you're too quick, waptserver isn't yet compatible with Debian 11; we haven't prepared the packages yet.
