MSI package update

Good morning,

I'm trying to update an MSI package (it's Flowcode, https://flowcode.co.uk/download/ )

(The previous version of the package is correctly installed with wapt)

The line:

Code: Select all

install_msi_if_needed('FlowcodeV9_Installer.msi')

It gives me an error; in fact, if the software is already installed, it does not update it. I do not get an error when the old version is not installed.

I imagine Wapt can't detect that the versions differ, or have I forgotten an argument? I tried adding:

install_msi_if_needed('FlowcodeV9_Installer.msi', remove_old_version=true)

and I also tried adding a def update_package() section, but it didn't change anything.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the server; otherwise, I would have updated it.
