is it possible to upgrade from version 1.8.2 to 2.1, or is 1.8.2 the latest open-source version?

* Specify the OS of the administration/package creation machine and the machine with the problematic agent, if applicable (Windows 7/10/11/Debian 11/etc.).
* Avoid asking multiple questions when opening a topic, otherwise it may be ignored. If there are multiple topics, open separate topics, preferably one after the other and not all at the same time (i.e., do not spam the forum).
* Include code snippets, screenshots, and other images directly in the post. Links to Pastebin, Bitly, and other third-party sites will be systematically removed.

WAPT Community, the open-source version of WAPT is no longer maintained since version 1.8.2.
To use version 2.1 (and higher versions), the easiest option is to use WAPT Enterprise. You can even try it for free for one month:

WAPT Discovery, which is a free version limited to 300 workstations, should be released before the end of the year and will be based on the WAPT 2.1 code.

- Functionally, WAPT Discovery will be similar to WAPT Community
- This version will be based on the Python 3 language
- WAPT Discovery will not support Windows XP and macOS
- WAPT Discovery will be a proprietary version
- This version will also be limited to 300 users.
The Enterprise version will therefore be the most complete version of WAPT.
