Good morning,

I'm trying to find out if there's a way, through configuration in the wapt-get.ini file or elsewhere, to prevent this box from being checked:
wapt maj.jpg
wapt maj.jpg (71.97 KB) Viewed 5566 times
Wapt v2.1.2.10652

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

please do not post photos on third-party websites. The purpose of a forum is to serve as an informal resource. Resources on third-party sites can change or disappear, rendering the answers provided in this thread useless.

Could you please replace your link with an image directly?

Sincerely,

Denis

Hello Metarom_G,

there is currently no option in version 2.2 to disable the checkbox.

The option has been added in the upcoming version 2.3.

There is no planned release date for 2.3, but I think we will begin the RC cycle very soon.

Regards,

Denis

Now that version 2.3 is out, what's the option to disable the checkbox?
Which parameter in the ini file?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guillaume,

thanks for the reminder :-) . The parameter is `waptexit_disable_skip_windows_updates`, however, I just realized it wasn't documented and wasn't placed in the correct section (section [global] instead of section [waptwua]...).

I'll look into correcting the documentation, as well as correcting the configuration file parser to put it in the correct section of the wapt-get.ini file.

We've had some upgrade issues reported to us, so we should be releasing a minor update next Tuesday to address these problems, and we can take the opportunity to move the parameter to the correct section. If you want to test it in the meantime, you can add the parameter to the [global] section, or wait until next week.

Best regards,

Denis

As a reminder: DisableSkipWindowsUpdates is still not included in the documentation. ;)
Only the changelog contains some vague information.
Server: WAPT Enterprise 2.6.1.17786 on Debian
Consoles: Windows 10 & 11
Infrastructure: Windows

Hi Thomas,

thanks for the reminder, I've added it to the 2.4 documentation and the upcoming 2.5 (it will be pushed online with the next documentation update). The exact parameter was `waptexit_disable_skip_windows_updates`, but since it wasn't properly documented, the error is forgivable. ;-)

Thanks again,

Denis
