Hello,

In the self-service environment, is it possible to prevent users from uninstalling certain packages (not all)?

In our case, it's convenient to display all the packages we have so users can update them themselves on their machines, but we would like some software to be permanently installed on all our machines. Therefore, we would like to be able to prevent users from uninstalling these packages.

If this isn't currently possible, then please consider this post as a suggestion for improvement! :D

Hi Marc,

thanks for the feedback. We've already discussed this, but we haven't had many requests yet, so it's not at the top of our list of features to integrate. :-)

I've added an internal ticket to keep track of it.

Best regards,

Denis
