Hello,
to add to that, the versions (the installed one and the new one) don't come from the same place. The installed one comes from an older version of WAPT, which has since been migrated to the new one. This older installation didn't come from the store, but it has the same name
and the associated package has been...

The tis-vlc package does not update older versions
Hello,
Despite the presence of VLC version 3.0.21 in the repository, the initially deployed version 3.0.20 is not being updated.
All workstations remain green, despite the presence of the older VLC version.
I should add that the versions (the installed one and the new one) do not come from the same source...

xnviewMP returned non-zero exit status 5. during the update
Hello,
the XnViewMP store package generates the message "returned non-zero exit status 5" during its update on many machines.
How can I prevent this and restore the machines to normal operation?
Thank you.
Latest version of WAPT available: 2.6.1.2 (server and client).

Re: WAPT model change notice
Hello,
how does the migration of WAPT packages designed in Python 2 to 3 work?
How does the migration from Discovery to Enterprise work? Are they really different versions?
Thank you.

Random wapt_update
Hello,
A few thoughts:
1) Since client machine startup times aren't perfectly synchronized, the installation staggering happens naturally.
But in case that's not enough:
2) This task can be performed from a script on the server using `psexec \\* -u admin` or...

deploy a package group except 1
Hello,
I'm deploying a basic package set across my network, which is valid for 99% of the machines. In the remaining 1%, two machines have an alternative solution for one of the basic packages.
Question:
How do I tell WAPT to deploy the entire basic package set except for one?

Automatic resolution of dependencies / forced installation / submission
Hello,
I have three questions:
1) I would like to know if we are required to include dependencies in the packages sent to the machine, or if the machine is capable of automatically retrieving and installing them from the repository.
2) Can we force the installation/reinstallation of packages even if...

your methods for staying informed about the latest software updates
Hello,
since Wapt rightly blocks automatic software updates, I'd like to know how to stay informed about the latest updates to deployed software.
So far I've found: http://filehippo.com/fr/latest/ (and its RSS feed), but perhaps there's a better option (especially with the ability to...).

Best practice: adding TIS as a repository or using import?
Hello,
I would like to know if it is recommended to use the Wapt repository directly to benefit from the latest software for my network, or if it is preferable to proceed with a manual import as versions are released
. Thank you.
