Good morning,

I am using WAPT Enterprise version 2.5.5.15691 on a Debian 12.6 server (6.1.94-1 (2024-06-21)).

I attempted to deploy the tis-java8 package to workstations through an AD organizational unit.

I get the following error:

So, I'm thinking that this isn't the right adapted version.

I remove the package from the list of packages to be installed in this OU.

I have consistently had an error in the status of each machine.

So I tried the wapt-forget-packages package by correctly specifying the tis-java8 package, but without success since this package is ultimately not installed on the machines.

The error persists in the console with an error status for each machine.

Consulting the forum, the advice given is to use the "forget the package" command.

But this command is not available when I select a machine.

How can I restore the status of each machine and permanently remove the installation of this package?

The tis-java8 package is quite specific.

It attempts to install one of the following packages:

tis-adoptium-openjdk8-jre,
tis-oracle-java8-jre-free,
or tis-oracle-java8-jre-nonfree.

Therefore, your repository must contain at least one of these three packages.

Depending on your Java usage requirements, it's up to you to decide what you want.
