Greetings,

On Windows 10 I am getting an error when running "wapt-get session-setup ALL". I get a pop-up message that states "The requested operation requires elevation." I do not get this with Windows 7.

Thank you,
Chris

Hi Chris,

we have thousands of win10 running session-setup without any issue, so yes the behavior you get is unexpected. A few questions:
* what version of win10? is it the fall creator update?
* what packages have session-setup scripts that are run? Is it custom inhouse session update scripts, or it comes from TIS public repos?
* if you have setup session-setup at session startup (default behavior), do you also get a privilege elevation popup? Or is it only when you try to run it by hand?
* is the user local admin or non-privileged user?
* how is UAC configured on your win7 and win10. Is it default config in both cases?

Cheers,

Denis

Hi Dennis,

Apparently something was corrupted in the workstation. I reloaded the computer and everything is working as it should. Thank you for the reply.

Thanks,
Chris
