I get the following message when I try to change my computer's settings:

Unable to edit the host profile
If package is signed with a foreign key, you may want to delete host package first to workaround the issue

Hello,
this message means that the signature of the current machine configuration (it's a WAPT package like any other) cannot be recognized with the certificates currently in the directory

Perhaps it was created with a different key?

The "simple" solution is to delete the machine package and start with a clean one.

(Right-click / Delete computer / Check "Delete configuration only")

To explain the reason for this check:

When modifying a machine's configuration, under the hood, you retrieve a WAPT package from the server named after the machine's UUID, add or remove dependencies, re-sign it with your key, and re-upload it to the server with an incremented version.

If a malicious actor has previously placed a package on the server—necessarily incorrectly signed because they lack an approved key—containing dangerous code, you could unwittingly approve this malicious code by modifying the machine's configuration and re-signing it.
