Hello security_error,
security_error wrote: Jul 23, 2019 - 1:52 PM A new version is available: https://java.com/fr/download/manual.jsp

Best regards, as they say at work :)
The latest version of Java 8 is no longer free except for certain types of use. According to https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java...-faqs.html
This license permits personal use, development, testing, prototyping, demonstrating and some other uses at no cost
If the package is updated on the WAPT store, system administrators could accidentally download it and put their organization in breach of Oracle licensing. And Oracle doesn't take that lightly...

There is a `def update_source()` function in the tis-java package. You can use it to update the package directly in your repository.

Sincerely,

Denis Cardon

Personally, I plan to deploy AdoptOpenJDK's OpenJDK builds as a replacement for Oracle Java after verifying that it doesn't break anything. https://adoptopenjdk.net/
