Hello,
I'm revisiting this topic: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2226&p=7240&hilit=certificat#p7240 because I have the same problem. The "Save and Apply" and "Save" buttons in "Edit Machine" are grayed out.
Your documentation is very well written \(^0^)/ but I haven't found an answer there /(- _ -)\.
WAPT version: 1.8.1.6756 (Community)
Server OS: Windows Server 2012 R2
Client OS: Windows 7
I installed the waptagent with waptdeploy via a GPO.
Communication between the waptagent and the WAPT server is established.
The client and server clocks are synchronized.
I can download packages from the internet.
I think the problem lies with the certificate. Indeed, I have a certificate located in C:\private but not in C:\wapt\ssl.
So I copied and pasted it there, but it didn't solve anything.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hello,
the button only activates if you have a certificate entered in the console:
Tools -> Preferences -> Personal Certificate Path.
must also same be recognized by the machine (the certificate must be located in C:\Program Files (x86)\wapt\ssl) on the agents.
If this is not the case, add it and then restart the wapt agent.

Hello,
thank you for your quick reply!
On the server side, I put the certificate in C:\wapt\ssl and regenerated a WAPT agent. I deployed it to replace the old one, and it works! The certificates are now also in the ssl folder on the client machine.
I can deploy the packages without any problems.
Thanks again, and have a good day!
